Springing into Springpad #5

After a nice vacation absence, I am back inthe saddle and starting my note taking quest. I read and listened to the suggested apps and decided to try Springpad because, well, it's almost Spring and I liked the description of it being a baby of Evernote and Pinterest. I put the app on my iphone and will sync it with my ipad in the near future. The book notebook will prove to be handy and I am starting to fill it already. I am looking forward to creating a recipe notebook with links to the recipe since I use my ipad in the kitchen frequently.

The other app I want to try is Evernote. A colleague used it during college and raves about the many practical features for students. I will post soon on the comparisons between the 2 note taking apps.

Snow is melting fast; I hope to post again before the grass starts showing!

Ah finally found the turn off to Thing 4

Life happens and so does death. I've been busy these past fews weeks with both parts of this cycle. I grabbed my ipad the other day and was determined to get back on tth trail and I found myself browsing through Flipboard. What fun! I created my magazines of artlices to take with me on my upcoming travels. I will keep investigating this user friendly, colorful app and hope I will soon be spending time on the beach flipping through Flipboard!

It's great to sit down with device in hand and watch the videos about the hidden features in IOS7. A basic new feature but one I was unaware of is the availability of the camera before you type in your security code. This will come in very handy as I try to catch my first grandbaby's  many charming expressions! And the prospect of sharing pictues and facetime is the reason why I jumped on the smartphone bus. I love it!
